About Tanya
Most of our stories are not exactly how we would have written them in a 5th grade journal. Mine is no different. My journal contains chapters of great joy butted right up against paragraphs that include excruciating pain.
But what I’ve found is that although the events of my life are part of my story, they’re not my whole story. And the circumstances in those chapters certainly are not what define me. In fact, as God has shown up in those paragraphs and chapters and drawn me into a closer relationship with Him, it has allowed me to pastor and speak encouragement and hope into the lives of women who are all on similar but different journeys of their own.
